- Inspect for signs of trespassing
- Inspect for damage to home or grounds
- Ensure exterior doors, windows, shutters, furniture, cabinets, structures, and coverings are operational and secure
- Visible signs of water leaks around property and in garage
- Schedule and monitor landscaping and pest control services; perform minor weed control
- Lawn, landscaping and irrigation services are performing satisfactorily
- Maintain sprinkler/drip system schedule and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure waste and recycle receptacles have been serviced and have been properly stored away
- Circuit breaker is set, per instructions
- Clean up any trash, flyers, newsletters on the premise and any other signs of owner absenteeism
- Leaflets, newspapers, or junk mail collected
- Pool and Spa services are performed satisfactorily
- Inspect the exterior of the home for bird holes, and stucco problems
